company is working on rewriting Goldman Sachs loan to remove reliance/ wording on Raptiva. company is actively seeking a big pharma partner for XOMA O52, you can't expect company to appear weak and beg for a partner just to rush news in a press release, they are now negotiating from strength in that they have raised money (not easy in this market,so it shows market confidence) and will get the best deal for shareholders because management is a shareholder too( and a big one) XOMA O52 progress results are due in July ,maybe other developments come sooner ,like the GS loan modification. these low volume (1-2 million days) don't truly reflect the sentiment here. remember that hedge funds have recently purchased $10 + $12million of shares with the last @ $1.15 so i'm confident that this will trade much higher soon.

Technical Analysis of XOMA: from a chart reader's prespective this was all set up yesterday. PSAR crossed, we broke through the 200SMA, today we broke the 50 day. RSI was set up and moving over 50. MACD had crossed and now has crossed the center line as well. And as the day went on very high volume and the broader market pulling off its lows all fed this. Whether or not we get news or insiders knowing rumors i have no idea, but the chart certainly can explain today's move. It should at least take most of a morning to slow momentum like this down so Looking for more in the a.m.!!!
